Bollywood VS Tollywood: Varisu’s Hindi version leaves behind ‘Kuttey’ in BO earnings

Varisu has ignited a fire in regional cinema halls, especially in the states like Gujarat and Odisha.

New Delhi: Recently released South Indian movie- Varisu is shaking in the cinema halls in pan-India.

While two separate movies such as South’s Varisu and Bollywood’s Kuttey are released for separate audiences, the fan base is seemingly moving in one direction. South superstar Thalapathy Vijay and actress Rashmika Mandanna starrer movie – Varisu is reportedly doing well at the box office than Arjun Kapoor and actress Tabu’s Kuttey.

Varisu has ignited a fire in regional cinema halls, especially in the states like Gujarat and Odisha.

According to the box office collection, Kuttey received a minimal response of just 20 percent which ends up in a total estimated collection of Rs 2.20 crores net. In the meantime, Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu has waved up Rs 1.50 crores net on just the second day of its release.

In fact, the states like Gujarat made Kuttey’s collection five times lesser than Varisu. On the other hand, in Odisha, the Hindi version of Vrisu secured Rs 5.4 crores net on the third day of the release itself. Resulting, in the collection of even more than in Gujarat.

After watching the movie in the regional states, fans of Varisu took to twitter to praise it even more. Meanwhile, there is a very little public appreciation has been received for the movie Kuttey.

Upon this, one of the Twitter user said, Varisu’s hindi version movie is trending way better than the actual Bollywood’s Hindi movie Kuttey in North India. Another said, even though there was no promotion of Varisu in the Northern parts, still it did better than the promotional one – Kuttey.
