Covid care facility at Delhi gurudwara begins today, thanks to Rs 2 crore donation from Big B

New Delhi: A new COVID-19 facility has started operating from May 10 in the Rakab Ganj Gurdwara complex.

To help build the Covid care facility, megastar Amitabh Bachchan donated Rs 2 crore to Rakab Ganj Gurdwara in Delhi. The facility will provide all the services free-of-cost with at least 300 beds, oxygen concentrators, doctors, paramedics and ambulances.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee posted all the update on the micro-blogging site Twitter. He thanked the mega star for his contribution. Sirsa shared that Big B has also arranged oxygen cylinders for the COVID centre as there is scarcity of oxygen in the hospitals.

Senior Bachchan is leaving no stone unturned to help the people of India fight this devastating second wave of COVID-19. He is also doing a lot to make the people aware about the novel coronavirus.

On Sunday, he shared a video on his Twitter handle directly from the ‘Vax Live’ event. Big B urged all the audience in the concert to help India in such difficult times. He asked the people around the world to urge their respective governments and pharmaceutical companies to donate or help India by sending vaccines and medical equipments.
