Decades ago he started his career from ‘Love, Sex or Dhoka’ and ended up with brilliant performances in movies like, ‘Citylights’, ‘Shaitan’, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2’, ‘Talaash’, ‘Trapped’ and other. Not only that Raj’s work in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Fanney Khan’, and ‘Ludo’, and ‘Stree’ proved that he can give excellent performances in every genre possible.

Some lesser known facts about Rajkummar Rao are as follows;

-Rajkummar Rao is a FTII student and graduated in 2008.
-Has also ebuted in a film with Amitabh Bachchan
-Not only that Rao has also played the small role of a newsreader in ‘Rann’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh .
-His real name was Rajkumar Yadav but as per reports, his mother due to numerological reasons changed his name to Rajkummar Rao.

-Rajkummar attended the prestigious organization Film and Television Institute of India at Pune.
-Rao knows Taekwondo and has won a gold medal in practitioner of martial arts called Taekwondo.
-With Aamir Khan also he worked in Talaash and played the role of a police officer.
-The reason of his small role was because he just wanted to costar opposite Aamir in the film.

-Rajkummar played the role of Shahid Azmi in a film directed by Hansal Mehta.
-He has won his first National Film Award because of his brilliant performance.
