New Delhi : At a pre-release event of Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic movie on Saturday, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan while expressing his dejection over the performance of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) government in Andhra Pradesh, criticized its leaders and policies.
Pawan Kalyan, who is the younger brother of popular actor Cheernjeevi, is also an actor, director and screenwriter.
Kalyan further criticized the policies of the Andhra government regarding Telugu film industry and the harassment of Tollywood actors in pretext to their political differences.
Due to this, Posani Krishna Murali, also a actor, director and producer in the Telugu film industry retaliated to Kalyan’s allegations in a recent press conference.
Posani Murali denied all the allegations against the ruling government and its leaders, and brought up the matter of a Punjabi girl. He said without mentioning any names, “A girl from the state of Punjab entered the Telugu film industry in search of a job. She came in contact with a popular Tollywood actor. They became close. He offers her roles in the films. Later, he impregnated her and then forced her to abort the fetus. He also gave death threats to the girl if she reveal his identity. I request Pawan Kalyan to deliver justice to the girl. If he does, I will construct a temple for him.”
