New Delhi: Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen’s relationship is getting a mixed reaction on the internet, which includes trolling by the netizens. Modi was trolled for tagging a parody account of the former Miss Universe on Twitter while declaring their relationship. The founder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took on social media to address the trolls.
As Lalit addressed the trolls he shared his pictures with Sushmita, his late wife Minal Modi, his daughter Aliya Modi, Nelson Mandela, the 14th Dalai Lama, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Along with the pictures, he wrote a long note addressing the netizens trolling him. The businessman called out the media for trolling him for tagging the wrong account. He asked everyone to stop spreading fake news like USA’s former President Donald Trump.

Mr Lalit also cleared out the rumours of his late wife Minal Modi being his mother’s friend. He wrote that Minal Modi was his best friend for 12 years. After that, he called out the trolls for calling him a fugitive. He stated that he did not require to take a bribe as he was ‘born with a diamond spoon’ as he is the eldest grandson of the philanthropist Rai Bahadur Gujarmal Modi.
He went on to write about how he was alone with his idea to create a cricket league in form of the IPL. The businessman wrote, “When I joined BCCI IT HAD 40 crores in the bank… Guess what was in the bank when I was BANNED – 47,680 crores.”
Some people on the internet thanked him for creating IPL, while others called him out for running away from the law.
Making a successful enterprises or project doesn’t put you above laws. If IPL is successful, so you are and that project did compensate you for your all hard work.
When it comes to court, it seems someone is still running.

Kudos to you. Unfortunately we belong to a country where wealth is worshipped (lakshmi puja) but the wealth creator is vilified. It’s a country of jealous small people created so by our citizen unfriendly government and politicians. Jeena yahaan marna yahaan..all the best to you.
