Loni MLA files complaint against Aamir Khan for violating COVID-19 norms

Nand Kishore Gurjar, in his complaint said that Aamir Khan didn’t wear and violated social distancing norms when he came out to meet crowd. The MLA also shared a photo to corroborate his claim.

New Delhi: Loni MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar on Thursday filed a police complaint against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for violating Covid-19 norms, while on a visit to Ghaziabad.

Gurjar, in his complaint said that Aamir Khan didn’t wear and violated social distancing norms when he came out to meet crowd. The MLA also shared a photo to corroborate his claim. He also demanded a case be registered against the actor under the Epidemic Act.

Aamir Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming film Lal Singh Chaddha. The movie is in final stages and Mr Perfectionist recently visited Tronica city of Ghaziabad to record few scenes for the movie.

Earlier in August, Khan’s meeting with Turkey’s First Lady Emine Erdogan snowballed into a major controversy. The actor was in Turkey for a recce for his movie Laal Singh Chaddha, a remake of Tom Hanks’s Forrest Gump.

Erdogan, a devout Muslim, had backed Pakistan and raised the Kashmir issue in the United Nations. Erdogan also backed Pakistan in its protest against revoking of Article 370.
