Plot
Mo is grappling to find a way to support his Palestinian family in a place he is not familiar with. Struggling with 2 cultures, three language barriers, and a pending request from the asylum. He is desperate to find a way to survive and feed the family that depends on him.
To make his predicament worse, he cannot do many jobs without official papers. Selling scraps and purchases from his car is the only job he’s able to get without official papers. He’s not from Palestine and does not have citizenship there. But neither does he have citizenship here. This makes him dangle in between masses of lands and countries like a refugee with no secure home.
Mo takes all the burdens of providing for his family on himself. He does not care for the fact that his family will gladly help him carry the weight of his duty. Despite failing and facing multiple ordeals, Mo must push through it all if it means his family has basic necessities handed to them.
With the support of those he holds dear, Mo grapples to find a strong connection to hold onto so that he can provide for his family and live the life of a normal human being. The whole motive of the series is to make the viewers understand. No matter the hardships you face, you must keep trying.
