New Delhi: Ever since featuring in Karan Johar’s controversial chat show Koffee with Karan 8, renowned couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
While the actress is getting heavily trolled by the netizens for her objectionable revelations about her relationship with Ranveer, the Padmavat actor is facing criticism for telling the same story of his first meeting with both Anushka Sharma and Deepika.
As if all this was already not enough, the couple is now once again finding themselves the target of trolls, this time for indulging in PDA while leaving after attending a wedding reception last night.

In the video, shared by Manav Manglani on their Instagram handle, Ranveer and Deepika can be seen exiting the reception while being seated in the backseat of their car with two other people.
As the vehicle starts moving, the actor is spotted gently holding Deepika’s hand and the same has given netizens one more reason to troll the famed couple
Talking to the comments section, one user wrote, “They are so weird, will do anything to get the public attention.”Another one added, “They show off their love in front of the camera.’
“Sob natak ….image sahi kar rahi hai ….ullu samjhta hai hum logo ko…. idiot”, (they are just doing it to clear their image, they think the public is a fool but that’s not the case, we understand everything) added a third social media added.

Deepika on her commitment with Ranveer
Earlier, Deepika faced heavy backlash from her fans when she spilled the beans in KWK 8’s first episode and told how she was not interested in getting committed to Ranveer during the initial days of their relationship.
She said, “I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said, ‘I just don’t want to be attached; I don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun! And then he came along, so I didn’t commit until he proposed to me. There was no ‘commitment as such. Although we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other.”
Deepika Padukone’s work front
On her professional front, Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s magnum opus Jawan, will make her next appearance on the big screens in Hrithik Roshan’s aerial actioner Fighter which is slated to hit the theaters on 24 January 2024.
The film is helmed by Siddharth Anand and features actors like Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in lead roles.
Besides that, the actress is also a part of Rohit Shetty’s upcoming Cop-universe action entertainer Singham Again.
