New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most loved celebrity couples in Bollywood. They are reportedly dating for more than four years now and their fans are eagerly waiting for them to tie the knot soon. Although several speculations about their marriage are going around the net, some more details have been revealed now.
According to the reports by Pinkvilla, Ranbir and Alia will reportedly tie the knot in April this year, while the venue for their wedding has already been decided. Reports stated that the couple will not marry in a lavish hotel but at the Kapoor’s ancestral home, RK House. The venue for the wedding has been decided by Ranbir Kapoor himself. Interestingly, Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor got married in the same place on January 20, 1980.
Pinkvilla reported that 450 guests will be attending Ranbir and Alia’s wedding which is likely to take place in the second week of April. Further, it stated that Kapoors wished to hold the wedding in April end, but the Bhatt family wanted it to be a little early due to Alia’s maternal grandfather, Narendra Nath Razdan’s health issues.
However, there’s no official confirmation from the couple about them getting married.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor responded to a question when asked about his wedding date and revealed that it will happen soon. “I am not bitten by the mad dog that I would announce the date to the media, but I can tell you that. Alia and I are both planning to marry. I’m hoping it happens soon,” he said.
In terms of work, Ranbir Kapoor is working on Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Brahmastra, the shooting of which is wrapped up currently. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in key roles. He also has Shamshera in the pipeline along with Vaani Kapoor. Besides, he will also be seen in Animal alongside Rashmika Mandanna. While Alia Bhatt is currently working on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani beside Ranveer Singh.
