‘The Kashmir files’ director Vivek Agnihotri calls Alia Bhatt part of family, says ‘wont accept anything negative about her’

Vivek rose to fame last year with his super hit film The Kashmir Files which showcased the painful forgotten tale of the infamous Kashmiri Pandits’ exodus of the 1990s

New Delhi: The Kashmir files director Vivek Agnihotri, who is known for his hate for Bollywood, recently called one of the most popular actresses of the same industry Alia Bhatt as a part of his family. While speaking about Alia, the director not only called the actress a part of his family but also asserted that he cannot tolerate anyone saying negative words about the actress.

In his recently held interview with Mid-Day, Vivek admitted being a fan of Alia and Pushpa star Telegu actor Allu Arjun and even revealed his desire to work with the actor in the near future. While Allu Arjun is gearing up for the eagerly awaited sequel of his super hit actioner Pushpa 2, Alia is busy enjoying the success of her recently released box office success Rockey aur Rani ki Prem Kahani.

Vivek calls Alia ‘Family’

Accepting that he admires Alia’s acting and work, Vivek in the same interview added “I feel Alia is a part of my family”. He further went ahead and complimented the actress by calling her an intelligent and mature woman while citing her as a good example of how an actor must mature on the screens with time. Later in the interview, he also said that he cannot take any negative feedback about Alia from anyone during a discussion he is a part of.

Vivek’s fanboying over Aila comes as a surprise for all the fans as the director is otherwise known for detesting the tinsel town and is often heard accusing Bollywood’s bigwigs of nepotism and being biased. On various occasions, the Kashmir files director has publicly spoken up against big names from Bollywood including Jawan star Shah Rukh Khan and even blasted the star kids on various social media platforms.
