New Delhi: ‘Vedam’ fame Nagaiah passed away today morning due to old age illness. He breathed his last this morning around 4.30 AM.
Nagaiah acted in about 25 films with memorable roles in films like Vedam, Nagavalli, Okkadine, Student Star, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Spider among others. The leading character artist impressed everyone with his portrayal of many roles.
Nagaiah hails from Desavarampeta of Guntur district. After his wife died recently, he wasn’t keeping well and was ill for sometime. This morning around 4:30, he breathed his last.
Nagaiah was forced to beg on streets
Vedam Nagaiah suffered extreme hardships in real life, much like the characters he played.
At one point of time, Ramulu was found begging on the streets of Filmnagar circles and in the pandemic, he received help from MAA and Telangana government.
After he was found begging at the road of the film industry, Telangana Chief Minister KCR came to his rescue and provided financial help of Rs. 1 lakh.
