New Delhi: Mumbai witnessed a star-studded affair on Tuesday as Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif attended the special screening of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar and starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
Arriving hand-in-hand at the screening, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif exuded elegance. Vicky donned a blue denim shirt, while Katrina opted for a white dress paired with black boots. As they left the theater, the paparazzi sought their reactions to the film. Vicky responded, “Bahut achi hai” (It is very good), while Katrina found the movie “amazing” and “wonderful.”

Taking to Instagram Stories the following day, Vicky further lauded Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He shared a film poster featuring Alia and Ranveer and wrote, “Loved every bit of it. Hardcore big screen family entertainer. Take your loved ones… don’t miss it! Karan Johar, you are a true master. Tremendous, tremendous performances by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, and what joy to watch the veterans Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi on screen! The screening witnessed the presence of other prominent personalities from the film industry. Alia Bhatt arrived with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor, both donning matching black T-shirts. Ranveer Singh attended the event solo, as his wife, Deepika Padukone, was away on prior commitments. Shabana Azmi, who plays a crucial role in the film, attended with her husband, lyricist Javed Akhtar.
Jaya Bachchan, another integral part of the cast, graced the screening with her son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan. Interior designer and producer Gauri Khan was also in attendance, accompanied by her mother, Savita Chhibber. Notable celebrities, including Malaika Arora, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, were among those present at the event.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Karan Johar’s directorial comeback after a seven-year gap since Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). The film is a much-anticipated reunion of Karan with Alia Bhatt, who made her acting debut as a lead in Student of the Year (2012). Additionally, it marks the reunion of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt after their successful collaboration in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy (2019).
