New Delhi: In a distressing turn of events, popular television actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner, Siddharth Shukla passed away on Thursday. The 40-year old died as a result of a cardiac arrest, and is survived by his mother Rita Shukla and two sisters.
The actor’s funeral was held at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai, on Friday, September 4. Several co-actors and other celebrities were present during the funeral including Arjun Bijlani, Arti Singh, Arjun Bijlani, Rahul Mahajan, Abhinav Shukla, and Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha. The late actor’s girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill also stood by the mourning family members.
After Siddharth’s sudden demise, fans are digging out old pictures and videos of the actor. These pics and videos are widely being shared on the internet.
Meanwhile, a video of Siddharth Shukla from the stage of Bigg Boss 13 is going viral on social media. In the video, Siddharth Shukla and Salman Khan can be seen joking about the Balika Vadhu actor’s death.
The Bigg Boss host Khan said in a jest, “Fans ne save kar lia, upar wala save nahi kia (he was saved by the votes from his fans, but was not saved by the god)”, to which Siddharth laughed hysterically.

“Sab royege… Nahi yaar, jo bhi bolo acha aadma tha yaar. Cheekhta tha, chilata tha, mooh pe aakar bolta tha, dhakka maarta tha, but somewhere he was good hearted man,” the Radhe actor further added.
“Kisi ne Bigg Boss ke andar shaadi karli, kisi ko Bigg Boss ke andar pyar ho gaya aur koi Bigg Boss ke andar nikal lia (A few have found love in the Bigg Boss, a few have got married, and someone have also passed away in here),” Salman had joking about the actors death.
The video is from Bigg Boss 13 when Sidharth was hospitalised for a week because of typhoid.
