Writer Reema Kagti gives updates on much-anticipated ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, ‘Made In Heaven 2’

Talking about the Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif starrer film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, the writer said that the shooting of the film will begin at the end of the year.

New Delhi: Writer-director Reema Kagti shed light on two of the most anticipated projects ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ and ‘Made In Heaven Season 2’. In an interview with Indian Express, Kagti revealed when Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film will go on the floor and gave an update about the release of ‘Made In Heaven 2’. Reema Kagti is on board in both projects as a writer.

Talking about the Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif starrer film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, the writer said that the shooting of the film will begin at the end of the year. She added that she is looking forward to the project and is excited for it.

‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is a story of three women going on a road trip. The film was announced years ago but there was no update regarding the project before Farhan recently posted a picture of him doing the recce to begin the shoot. He also revealed that there is no change in the cast of the film and Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar have penned the script.

When asked about the release of Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur starrer show ‘Made In Heaven’, Reema said that the next season will release ‘sooner’ than expected.

‘Made In Heaven’ revolves around two wedding planners and explores the themes of class, gender, and sexuality. The show garnered a lot of praise and developed a fanbase, which is eagerly waiting for the release of season 2. Season 1 of the show is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Reema has co-written and co-directed the show ‘Dahaad’ starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah. The crime-thriller was premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 12 onwards. She also has upcoming films ‘The Archies’ and ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ to her writing credits.
