Ahead of swearing-in, Nitish-Lalu memes float on social media; poke fun at Bihar’s political drama

New Delhi: As Bihar’s political drama catches the attention of nation, the citizens are also in no mood to let it go without some scorn or ridicule.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave up his chair yesterday by tendering resignation to Governor and is again ready to take the CM’s chair today, by aligning with rival-turned-ally Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). This has prompted the netizens to poke fun at the Bihar’s political drama.

Many are referring to ‘Paltu Ram’, an oft-repeated dig at Nitish by the RJD while others are taking swipes at Nitish-Lalu Jodi.

The meme features the faces of Bihar’s two top politicians with ‘Qismat ki hawa’ song from Albela movie (1951) playing in the background.

Many Twitter users commented on this tweet.

Nitish Kumar is set to take oath as Bihar Chief Minister for 8th time while Lalu’s son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav will be sworn in as his deputy.
