New Delhi: Self-styled Khalistani leader & Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh issued a video statement on Wednesday, amid reports that he will surrender himself today and face the law.
The absconding radical preacher made his public appearance today via Facebook LIVE, even as Punjab police remain on the lookout for him since March 18.
His location still remains untraceable however there are wide speculations & reports of him surrending before the Akal Takht in Bhatinda. Notably, a jathdar of the Akal Takht came out in open support of the Khalistani leader & his aides and also gave an ultimatum to Bhagwann Mann government to release all his aides in 24 hours.

Amritpal absconding for 12 days
Amritpal Singh has been on the run ever since Punjab police launched a major crackdown on him & his aides on March 18. While Punjab cops apprehended many of his close aides including his gunners but the Waris Punjab De managed to give the police a slip and has evaded arrest till now.
Today, his search entered Day 12. Though, police administration has pressed into action its full machinery but the radical preacher remains beyond their clutches.
Punjab cops have also not ruled out his escape from the state. His unconfirmed photos, first from Haryana & then Delhi only added to police’s consternation but it neither confirmed nor denied his identity in viral images & videos. Today, his video without turban surfaced on social media & claimed it to be from some market in Delhi.
