IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter Crashed: RIP Gen Bipin Rawat, Tweets Lt Gen H S Panag(R)

New Delhi: CDS General Bipin Rawat passed away after Military chopper crashed in in Tamil Nadu. The news was confirmed by Lt Gen HS Panga on Twitter.

Also reports said that his wife Mrs Madhulika Rawat passed away in the tragic accident.

CDS Gen Bipin Rawat was brought to Wellington hospital in a very critical situation.

According to media reports eleven deaths have been confirmed.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will be reaching Coimbatore from Chennai Airport today evening and then move to Nilgiris, following the incident of military chopper crash between Coimbatore and Sulu

An inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
