Cong leader Chidambaram faces protests ‘from own’ at Calcutta High Court

In an embarrassing turn of events, Congress leader P Chidambaram faced loud protests at the Calcutta High Court.

New Delhi: In an embarrassing turn of events, Congress leader P Chidambaram faced loud protests at the Calcutta High Court. A group of lawyers belonging to the Congress legal cell raised slogans against him and ‘chased’ him till he got in to the car.

The Congress legal cell lawyers were offended by the fact that senior party leader had chosen to represent West Bengal govt in the Metro Dairy case against West Bengal PCC president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

Though many are calling the protest motivated & done with a malicious intent, the incident brings to fore the bitter & acrimonious divide within the party.

In the video, a person in black robe can also be heard saying, “We spit on you.”
