Covid in India: Govt approves Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine as heterologous booster

New Delhi: The government today approved Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine to be used as a heterologous booster. The vaccine will be first made available in private hospitals.

Sources said the nasal vaccine will be included in COVID-19 vaccination program from today.

Sources also said a mock drill for an emergency response to deal with COVID-19 cases will be conducted in hospitals across the country on December 27th.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also visit a government hospital for the mock drill
