New Delhi: In a shocking incident in New Delhi, a few people beat a policeman inside the police station. The video, recorded by one of the miscreants, has now gone viral on the internet. However, no one from the crowd tried to stop them. Seeing the video, netizens are demanding strict action against those who took the law into their hands.

Incident reported in Anand Vihar
In the video, one can see some people dragging the policeman from his collar while a few people are trying to record the incident from their mobile phones. Meanwhile, the cop asks for an apology but no one is listening to him. The preliminary information suggests the incident occurred in a police station in Anand Vihar. The cop is said to be working here as a head constable.
However, it is very strange that other policemen could not save him from being beaten.
DSP assures strict action
It is reported that the constable’s name is Prakash and he suffered the humiliation on August 3.
Taking into cognisance of the matter, DSP has assured strict action will be taken against the culprits. He also said the investigation into the case has been launched.
