New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 134 seats and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) won 104, while Congress 9 and Independent 3 after the counting of votes for Delhi MCD elections concluded today.
The polling for the Delhi MCD elections was held on Sunday (December 4), with about 50 percent voter turnout.
The exit poll on Monday predicted a big win for AAP in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls in Delhi.
The exit polls predicted that BJP will face a defeat in the Delhi MCD elections after almost fifteen years.
The exit poll also predicted the poor performance of the Congress party.
However, the predictions and expectations will be cleared only after the final counting is completed on December 7.
