‘Fully agree with Kangana Ranaut’: Nirbhaya’s mother after Kangana lashed out at Indira Jaising

New Delhi: The mother of Delhi gang-rape victim, Asha Devi has supported Kangana Ranaut’s comments on the veteran lawyer Indira Jaising.

In a telephonic interview with Newsroompost.com, Asha Devi said that she fully supports what actress said. She said i am happy that someone is has spoken against the Indira Jaisings and stood with me.

Promoting her upcoming movie Kangana Ranaut in press event – demanded that the convicts of the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case should be hanged publicly. Slamming the veteran lawyer, Kangana said that she should be kept in jail with those convicts for four days. The national award-winning actress further said that such women give birth to monsters.

Senior lawyer Indira Jaising had urged Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi to forgive Nirbhaya’s convicts like Sonia Gandhi forgave her husband’s killer. She wrote on Twitter, “While I fully identify with the pain of Asha Devi I urge her to follow the example of Sonia Gandhi who forgave Nalini and said she didn’t not want the death penalty for her. We are with you but against the death penalty.”

Four of the convicts – Akshay, Vinay, Pawan and Mukesh – have been sentenced to death and will be hanged at 6 am on February 1.
