New Delhi: In a shocking revelation, a video of Hathras victim’s mother has surfaced where she is giving an account of that day when her daughter was attacked.
In the video, she says that her daughter was strangulated by just one person named Sandeep and this was because of old-age enmity between the two groups.
While she repeats the strangulation charge but doesn’t mention rape.
This is in stark contrast to several media reports which said that the girl’s eyes were gouged out, throat slit and the gangrape by 4 upper-class men.
However, her statement bears resemblance with the 1st FIR by victims’ family, where in its written complaint said that the girl was strangulated by a person in the fields.
UP top cop also denied reports of gangrape as it cited the autopsy and forensic reports none of which pointed at sexual assault of the girl.

“We were cutting grass in the field. I was little far away from her. Suddenly, a person came from behind, pulled her by hair and dragged through the Bajra field. They strangulated her so badly that she couldn’t even breathe” mother said in the video.
“He came there to take revenge and settle previous enmity,” she further said.
When asked who attacked her daughter, she replies, “There was only one boy”, and names “Sandeep, Thakur’s son.
She also reveals that her father-in-law was beaten by Thakurs and they have threatened to kill them one by one.
