New Delhi: A MiG-21 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in Jaisalmer of Rajasthan on Friday evening. The precise location of the MiG-21 crash is not yet known, however search operation has begun.
Till last reports came, there was no information about the pilot and search teams are looking for him.
According to initial reports, the MiG-21 suffered a fatal mishap near the Ganga village in DNP area of Jaisalmer. The fire brigade was rushed to the spot while police and local administration are also engaged in locating the pilot of the ill-fated fighter jet.
Indian Air Force (IAF) is yet to issue a statement on the ill-fated incident.
