In UP, thousands of farmers lend support to farm laws; march from Muzaffarnagar to Ghaziabad
Farmers of Uttar Pradesh have started mobilising in support of the central government’s agricultural bills and thousands of farmers took out a march from Muzaffarnagar to Ghaziabad under the banner of `Hind Kisan Mazdoor Samiti’ on Sunday.
The support march also passed through Bijnore, Baghpat and other districts before reaching the Ramleela ground in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and in its course, it also found support of the local farmers who joined it.

“The laws are in the interest of the farmers but the opposition is misleading them by spreading rumors that the MSP and Mandis are going to end. Our PM Narendra Modi is continuously working for the interest of the farmers and with the new laws, he is aiming to double the income of the farmers. However, the opposition does not want the country to develop and the farmers to progress”, Sanjeev Balyan, minister of state for animal husbandry, fisheries and dairy, said.
“With the new laws, the interference of the middlemen and the brokers will end and the farmers can directly get the profits and incentives. Those who are opposing the laws and instigating the farmers by spreading rumors are working to divide the country. Strict action should be taken against such people,” a farmers’ leader, Shailendra, said.
