New Delhi: Star cricketer Virat Kohli keeps amusing fans with his on-field & off-field antics, besides solid batting performances & record-breaking runs.
During the second Test between India and South Africa, while Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was piercing through the Proteas ranks, the ‘bow & arrow’ gesture by Virat Kohli caught the attention of cricket fans and turned heads on internet.
Kohli’s gestures went viral on the social media and got interpreted in various ways by netizens. Kohli folding his hands and imitating an archery move like Lord Ram gave social media a reason to speculate about.
While many linked it with Kohli’s devotion to Lord Ram ahead of much-awaited Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22 while others saluted his sportsmanship for respecting fellow players. Some users claimed that Kohli has got smitten with love for Lord Ram, much like his devotees and his gestures smack of the same.

The second Test match saw South Africa falling to its knees, against India’s piercive bowling. Former Indian skipper was presumably in good mood over its collapse.

The funny incident happened in 16th over when Keshav Maharaj walked over the crease. As soon as cricketer entered ground, the speakers began playing the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’. It’s then the star Indian batsmad did ‘namaste’. His gesture has gone viral and is winning over the internet.
In the ongoing Test series,Team India is trailing 0-1 in the series. In the current test, South Africa got bowled out for a meagre 55 runs, its one of lowest scores.
