Jodhpur: Dummy candidate appears in LLB exam of Congress MLA’s son

It is reported that the state police and the Jai Narayan Vyas University are trying to hush up the matter. 

New Delhi: In Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, the son of Congress MLA Heera Ram Meghwal, Mahesh Meghwal was allegedly caught using a dummy candidate for writing a paper for the LLB exam. It is reported that the state police and the Jai Narayan Vyas University are trying to hush up the matter.

According to media reports, the university administration sought a factual report on Saturday following the issue went viral on social media and some student leaders raise their voices against the cheating.

The reports further said the police did not file a complaint. However, the university officials said they have filed a complaint to the police but the police refused to received any such complaint.

”We have not received any complaint in this regard from the University,” said Derawar Singh, ACP (EAST) talking to a leading English daily.

On the matter, MLA Meghwal from the district’s Bilara constituency did not give any statement. Dean (Law)  Chandan Bala said we had filed a written complaint to the police and the name of the candidate was Mahesh Meghwal.

The candidate who appeared in place of Mahesh Meghwal has been identified as Sudarshan Jangid. It is also reported, the Jangid has accepted doing fraud.

After knowing this, the dean took the fraudster to the police where he was let go.
