New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that the opposition is misleading farmers regarding MSP. He made it clear that the MSP system will remain.
He attacked the opposition while addressing the Kisan Sammelan in Mehrauli, New Delhi.
In a bid to reach out to farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will allay the concerns of the farmers related to the farm laws and also release Rs 18,000 crore as the next installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to over 9 crore farmers.
The three farm laws are in the favour of the farmers. Nobody can remove MSP system or snatch farmers’ land from them. The government is ready to hold talks with farmers’ unions with an open heart, he further said.
