New Delhi: A video of a man from Muradnagar in Ghaziabad has gone viral on social media. A young man in the video can be seen crawling into his balcony to snip the wire which was illegally connected to a power source.

The incident took place when a team of the Ghaziabad electricity department visits the neighborhood for an inspection in the area. An official was recording the video for illegally connected wire when the man crawls into his balcony to cut the wire in order to erase any shreds of evidence of electricity theft.
The official can be heard saying “I’m standing right here brother”.

The department had information that residents of Muradnagar were stealing power by illegal cable connections. About 13 kilowatts of electricity theft were caught by the officials in the raids.
