New Zealand High Commission seeks oxygen support from IYC, deletes tweet later
New Delhi: New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi on Sunday tweeted an appeal to the youth wing of the opposition Congress for medical oxygen amid the coronavirus crisis in India.
High Commission quickly deleted the tweet as many wondered that they had come under government pressure to do so as the Congress splashed photos on social media of its activists delivering the cylinders anyway.
High Commission issued the clarification after several social media users criticised the Centre for failing to help even foreign diplomats in Delhi.
The youth congress workers have reached the high commission office with an oxygen cylinder updated Shrinivas BV on Twitter by sharing pictures.
