New Delhi: With the dawn of first phase of Assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter on Thursday and sought to alarm to the voters about ‘committing any mistake’ in the polls.

Sharing a six-minute long video from his personal Twitter handle, the UP CM said that the rioters are getting impatient and if they are not restrained, that will spoil the good works of BJP govt.

Towards the end of video, Yogi also made an appeal to voters to give preference to any other party over the BJP otherwise ‘state may again see return of anarchy & mayhem’.

“I have to tell you something that is there in my heart. A lot of wonderful things have happened in these five years. Beware! If you miss, the labour of these five years will be spoiled. It would not take much time for Uttar Pradesh to become Kashmir, Kerala and Bengal,” CM Yogi warned.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan didn’t hold back and was equally forceful in his counter to the Uttar Pradesh CM.

Vijayan tweeted, “If UP turns into Kerala as @myogiadityanath fears, it will enjoy the best education, health services, social welfare, living standards and have a harmonious society in which people won’t be murdered in the name of religion and caste. That’s what the people of UP would want.”

Uttar Pradesh, with 403 assembly constituencies is going to polls in 7 phases on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, March 3, and 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
