PM Modi inaugurates 17 projects in Gujarat, including Arogyavan, Ekta Mall & Children Nutrition Park

Prime Minister inaugurated many tourism attraction projects on the eve of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 145th birth anniversary. These projects, includes ‘Ekta Mall’, ‘Children Nutrition Park’, and Aarogya Van’.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled 17 different projects for integrated development of the Statue of Unity-Kevadia and laid foundation stone of 4 projects. Governor Acharya Devvratji and Chief Minister Vijay Rupani also remained present on the occasion.

Prime Minister inaugurated many tourism attraction projects on the eve of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 145th birth anniversary. These projects, includes ‘Ekta Mall’, ‘Children Nutrition Park’, and Aarogya Van’.

All these projects have enhanced the attraction of the Statue of Unity which will prove to be a delightful gift to attract and enjoy the tourists. With all these projects completed in record time, Kevadia has emerged as a world class tourist destination.

On the occasion, Chief Secretary of the State Dr. Anil Mukim and Principal Secretary of the Forest Department Dr. Rajiv Gupta gave detailed information about the project to the Prime Minister.

While inaugurating the Aarogya Van, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that “The Children’s Nutrition Park” at Kevadia is a creative place to spread awareness on various aspects of nutrition. There are also some other important attraction: a train ride, which will take you to different places and show you various attractions.

Inaugurating the “aarogya Van”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “This forest is a symbol of India’s medicine treasure. It is a beautiful place to learn about India’s ancient Ayurvedic health system and excellent health with various plants. ”

At the inauguration of Ekta Mall, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the place in a literal way, saying that Ekta Mall is a single destination to explore India’s diverse handicraft heritage.

Key Features of 1st Phase Projects Inaugurated and laid foundation stone by PM Modi

Aarogya Van: It is spread over 17 acre, keeping in view health and well-being of human beings, Yoga and Ayurveda, having 5-lakh trees trees of 380 varieties. It has pond where lotus bloom, garden of colors, Alba garden, Lutia garden, aroma garden, indoor plants, digital information centre, souvenir shops, cafeteria, health department’s wellness centre, doctors from Kerala on nature therapy to blend with nature.

Ekta Mall: With a view to give special shopping pleasure to the visiting national and international tourists, a two-storey ‘Ekta Mall’, in total spread over 35,000 sq feet, has been built here. The mall will house stalls of traditional handloom and handicrafts varieties of 20 different states of India to give insight into the culture and traditions of these states. These stalls included Garvi Gurjari, Purabshree, Kairali, Murgnaini, Pumpuhar, Gangotri, Kaveri, Khadi India, Kashmir and CCI Emporium.

Children National Park: This is first of its kind technology based ‘Children National Park’ in the world. The theme based park is spread over 35,000 sq. meter. It is specially designed with an objective that it provides fun along with knowledge to the children. Here, the children can make travelling of 600 mt in a mini-train. In addition to that it hoses a 5D theatre and other entertainment amenities.
