New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday praised and mentioned quarantined workers who painted School in Rajasthan to return for good service by villagers.
He said, ‘in the middle of this pandemic, the farmers are ensuring that no one sleeps hungry in our country. Each person is fighting this war as per their capacity. Some are waiving off house rent, also some labourers who are in quarantine at a school are whitewashing the school’.

Who are quarantined workers PM Modi mentioned?
They are migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and other places of the country who were quarantined in one of a village’s school in Rajasthan. Workers were were so happy with the service provided by villagers that they painted the school building where they were living.
According to the reports, the labourers took up the initiative to paint the government school in Palsana and became an example for others. The workers staying at this centre said that they wanted to do something for the village in exchange for good arrangements made by sarpanch and others during the quarantine period.
