New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that amid rise in the Covid-19 cases in many countries in the world and urged people to remain careful, wear masks and wash hands.
PM Modi urged people to take precautions in his last Mann Ki Baat of 2022 today.
Earlier, PM Modi has asked to increase testing and had encouraged a return to Covid-appropriate behaviour.
PM Modi had also reviewed the COVID19 situation in every states.
On Saturday, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had decided to conduct mock drills at all health facilities across the country on December 27 (Tuesday) in the wake of the COVID 19 alarm due to a surge in infection in China and several other countries.

On December 24 (Saturday) India recorded over 201 new COVID-19 infections in last 24 hours.
According to reports, millions of people in China have been affected by Covid-19.
