New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh highway became the spot of dramatic scenes today as Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi led the protest march along with Congress workers to Hathras. As Rahul Gandhi kept moving despite a call to abandon their padayatra, some chaos happened on the highway.

Rahul got manhandled and almost fell down while leading the protests. It can’t be confirmed as to how he was roughed up, but the pictures speak for themselves.

Rahul and Priyanka both began their march towards Hathras to meet the family of gang rape victim. Rahul Gandhi alleged that he was pushed to the ground and lathi-charged as he and Priyanka marched on the highway after UP police stopped their convoy.
