New Delhi: In an horrific incident in India’s financial capital, a 30 year old woman raped and brutally mutilated. The CCTV footage of the incident has emerged as a crucial evidence against the accused 45-year-old accused in the case.
The accused Mohan Chauhan can be seen stabbing her genitals with an iron rod several times. The incident took between 2.30 and 3 am on Friday, as per the CCTV footage. The Mumbai police received a call regarding the case at 3.30 am.
After assaulting the woman, the accused put her in a tempo and escaped. Later, the woman was found unconscious in a pool of blood by a passerby.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition. The doctors had performed the initial surgery on Friday and the victim had been on ventilator afterwards. After battling for 33 hours for life, the victim took her last breath on Saturday.
