Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka has filed an FIR in the matter under section 302 of IPC claiming that she was killed by two of her associates

New Delhi: Followed by the official complaint made by actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat’s family, the Goa Police has registered a murder case in pretext of latter’s death on Monday.

The administration further conducted the postmortem of Phogat’s body today, i.e. on Thursday after her kin gave their consent for the procedure.

Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka has filed an FIR in the matter under section 302 of IPC claiming that she was killed by two of her associates pertaining to some differences.

The Goa police have registered the case against the two persons in the matter whose names have not been disclosed yet.

In conversation with an English news daily, Phogat’s nephew Moninder said, “We have given our consent for the autopsy as our legal team and the doctors told us that body will further degrade after 72 hours”.

“We hope that the doctors will get the entire procedure videographed”, he added.

Meanwhile Phogat’s brother said that they suspect a conspiracy in her death and even demanded for a fair CBI probe in the matter.

In the complaint, Dhaka reportedly mentioned that the late actress had talked with her mother and sister several hours before her death, during which she had complained against her staff.
