New Delhi: Cricketer turned politician, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, younger son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi is all set to tie the knot with his old-time friend soon.
He is said to marry Raj Shri who hails from Rewari, Haryana.
According to the official confirmation. the ring ceremony will take place on today (December 9) in New Delhi.
The news was confirmed by Lalu-Rabri and Tejashwi’s elder sister Rohini Archarya on her official Twitter handle on Wednesday (December 8).
This is one of the most awaited wedding the young leader is said to be one of the most eligible bachelors belonging to a political family.
Tejashwi would-be wife at present stays in Friends Colony in New Delhi.
According to close source, Yadav’s family, relatives, some political leaders and close friends will take part in the wedding and engagement ceremony.
It is also said that wedding function will be a low key affair.
RJD’s senior MLA Bhai Virendra also confirmed about the engagement date but did not disclose the wedding date.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, is the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly. He is the MLA from Raghopur seat.
Earlier, he was also the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar from 2015 to 2017.
This wedding is set to take place after his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav’s failed marriage with Aishwarya Roy.
Tej Pratap’s divorce with Aishwarya is currently pending in court.
Aishwarya Roy is the daughter of veteran MLA Chandrika Rai. He was a member of the RJD but later switched to the JD(U) due to spat in famy relationship.
A video of Aishwarya had earlier gone viral where she accused her mother in law and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi and her husband of domestic violence.
