New Delhi: Swati Mishra, a rather unknown singer till now, has shot into limelight with her devotional song on Lord Ram. Her song titled ‘Ram Aayenge’ is drawing attention of lakhs of Ram devotees and getting unprecedented love & attention from all quarters.

The Bhojpuri singer got a special surprise on Wednesday, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared her song dedicated to Ram Lalla and lauded her for soulful singing.

PM Modi wrote on X, “This bhajan by Swati Mishra for welcoming Lord Ram is mesmerizing.”

‘Ram Aayenge’ bhajan by Swati Mishra has gone hugely popular ahead of the Pran Pratistha ceremony. It has garnered 43 million views so far and is likely to fetch many more millions before Ram Lalla’s installation in the sanctum sanctorum of grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Talking about words of appreciation from PM, she said, “Kripa baras gayi mujh par ramji ki.”

The lyrics of Swati Mishra’s melodious song goes as “meri jhopdi ke bhaag, aaj khul jaayenge, Ram aayenge, ram aayenge, ram aayenge toh angana sajaaonga…”

The song has struck chord with not just ‘Ram bhakts’ but has found strong resonance among netizens as many are commenting and heaping praises on her.

Who is Swati Mishra?

Swati Mishra originally hails from Bihar’s Chapra district. She currently resides in Mumbai and makes her earnings by singing. Her soulful rendition in ‘Ram Aayenge’ bhajan has catapulted her into list of acclaimed singers and is drawing applause from all quarters.

However, this is not her first devotional song. She has been crooning songs for various festivals including Chatthh Puja. She has composed many songs on Lord Ram previously but this bhajan has hit the jackpot and breaking new records.

Will she attend Pran Pratistha ceremony?

Swati Mishra, when asked whether she will attend Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya said she would be the happiest person to witness Lord Ram’s consecration on January 22.

The singer hasn’t received invite for the Pran Pratistha ceremony yet. However, with her song setting new records and getting endorsed from the Prime Minister, organizers would surely keep her on the list of invitees.
