Well, it sounds good right? but in reality, today’s workplace is politically motivated , filled with envy, and greed.

These days, the workplace has turned out to be a domain of frustration where everyone single individual has one another’s backs.

Employees are so tired of the distrust, toxic work environments that they are are eager to start fresh.

Can you imagine how much productive the workplace would have been and business models would profitably flourish if employees were valued or if they felt valued, respected each other and enjoyed working with one another without complaining.

It has been noticed that, when your colleagues observes and see that you possess the required executive presence and get noticed or are being heard, they become unsecure, threatened and start feeling that you are not valued enough.

If your colleagues believe that you are getting all the attention, then they may smile and greet you-but in reality they probably dislike you.

They may also backbite and spread rumours about you, but you may leave all this behind and take this as an opportunity to showcase your leadership.

Politically savvy ways

Why spoil someone else’s image with fake stories and wrong information?  There are so many relationships that are lost when people stop communication or chooses not to communicate.  Anyways your colleague will eventually find out the reason behind this, so its important for you to share your intentions and use this as an opportunity to test your colleague relationships along the way.

You are liked or disliked based on your personality. There will be people at workplace who will like you and others that won’t. for the kind of person you are. Sometimes, personality conflicts results to envy. It is often seen that people fail to see the opportunity in associating themselves with people that can help them learn and/or become better.

Being competitive 

Being competitive is very much necessary, but sometimes your colleague who is lest bothered or least competitive can start hating you for it and may take it wrongly.  In this case you may continue with your competitiveness and may leave your colleague  as they will anyway try to hamper your peace of mind by creating different stories that even you have never known about it.
