“Behuda Sawaal”, says former Indian cricketer as fan compares Virendra Sehwag to Travis Head

Besides his exceptional batting average and caliber to perform on big occasions, Head is also renowned for his blasting strike rate

New Delhi: When a cricket fan compared Aussie batsman Travis Head with India’s legendary former cricketer Virender Sehwag, Ajaya Jadega slammed him with a befitting reply which is now doing rounds on social media.

Travis head, who has been enjoying tremendous form this year played a leading role in Australia’s quest to bag the prestigious ICC WTC 2023 mace and ICC Cricket World Cup 2023’s trophy.

On both occasions, the cricketer slammed a historical century that guided his team to two back-to-back ICC titles and broke the hearts of millions of Indians by shattering men in blue’s ICC trophy dreams twice in the finals.

Besides his exceptional batting average and caliber to perform on big occasions, Head is also renowned for his blasting strike rate and the same has made many remember India’s Virendra Shewag who used to do exactly the same during his days as an international cricketer.

However, when one fan dared to call the Aussie World Cup winner Shewag’s replica, Ajey Jadega responded to him with a savage reply and said, “What is his age? If this guy has seen Virender Sehwag then this is a ‘behuda sawaal. There is no logic in comparing Virender Sehwag with Travis Head. One is a right-hander, and the other is a left-hander.”

“Virender Sehwag is Virender Sehwag. He used to play/go for shots from the first ball. And did this guy see how Travis Head was batting in the first few overs in the final?” the ex-cricketer continued on Sports Tak.

After being a part of Australia’s squad in the recently concluded T20 series between the two CWC 2023 finalists, Head has now headed to his homeland to participate in the Beggy Green team’s incoming Test series against Pakistan. The three-match series will kick start from December 14th with the first match being played in Preth’s Gaba stadium.
