Celebrity Cricket League: Manoj Tiwari’s Bhojpuri Dabangs thrash Sonu Sood’s Punjab De Sher (WATCH)

The Bhojpuri Dabangs mounted a big total on the scoreboard and then did some brilliant bowling to restrain the rivals Punjab, 25 runs short of the target.

New Delhi: In the Group A match of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 2023), Manoj Tiwari-led Bhojpuri Dabangs recorded a thumping victory over actor Sonu Sood-led Punjab De Sher.

The Bhojpuri Dabangs mounted a big total on the scoreboard and then did some brilliant bowling to restrain the rivals Punjab, 25 runs short of the target. Adtiya’s unbeaten half century helped the Dabangs overpower the ‘Punjab De Sher’.

How Dabangs dominated Punjab De Sher

Bhojpuri Dabangs won the toss and chose to bat first. The team led by BJP MP as well as renowned singer Manoj Tiwari started off a good note and went on to 104 runs for 3 wickets on scorecard. Aditya Ojha’s brilliant knock of 51 runs powered the Dabangs and put in a strong position.

In response, Sonu Sood led Punjab De Sher stared aggressive chase of the target but its innings wobbled due to quick loss of wickets. Eventually, it fell short of target and lost the match by 25 runs.
Bhojpuri Dabang were declared victorious by 25 runs.

Celebrity Cricket League --

A total of 8 teams are participating in the Celebrity Cricket League in this season. The tournament which started on February 18 will culminate next month with March 19 final encounter. All the 8 teams will view in about 19 matches across various cities including Jaipur, Raipur, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Bengaluru & Thiruvananthapuram. Both semi-finals are slated for March 18 while the big finale will be occasion for Hyderabad residents to enjoy the ‘clash of celebrities’ on cricket pitch.
