New Delhi: The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) took on Lucknow SuperGiants in the 15th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday and rightfully drew many eyeballs on account of being a high scoring match, followed by dogged run chase.
The audience at Chinnaswamy stadium, too, were jubilant & exhilarated to witness the thrilling encounter but it was the last-ball match and subsequent drama on field that eclipsed all aspects of the game.
KL Rahul-led LSG was unlikely to win the match but the way it pulled off the match in last ball led to big celebration in its pavilion. All LSG players cheered & celebrated the last ball victory but it was Gautam Gambhi’s wild celebration on the field that left many a fans angry & agitated.
The former cricketer was seen with a strange ‘finger on lip gesture’ via which he was asking RCB fans to ‘shut up’ as the latter was peeved over its loss & hooting from the stadium. Gambhir’s wild celebration was caught on camera and he reportedly also hurled a mouthful before giving a high-five to fellow team mates.
His furious look remained while he greeted RCB’s Virat Kohli, thus angering latter’s big fanbase.

Many Twitter users were angry & furious over Gambhir’s over-the-top celebration while some tried to reason it, terming it a ‘natural expression’ of brave cricketer.
