Ebadot Hossain had a brilliant outing with pace and seam movement as he dismissed set Shreyas Iyer early. A tight line led to Iyer getting bowled for 86(192). It was Ashwin and Kuldeep’s show thereafter as they laid an 87-run stand. Ravi Ashwin scored 58 runs including two sixes in his inning while Kuldeep also hit five boundaries in his 114-ball-40 inning. Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked four wickets each after they had to bowl 46 and 31.5 overs each. Umesh Yadav also showed his six-hitting skills with the bat as he scored 15* off 10 balls with two sixes to take India’s score to 404.

Mohammed Siraj used the new ball well and dismissed Najmul Shanto on the first ball. Umesh Yadav aided well and picked one wicket before being hit for consecutive boundaries in two overs. While Siraj and Kuldeep have destroyed Bangladesh’s batting line-up, Mehidy Hasan Miraz is still playing at 16*(35).

Bangladesh is far behind in the game as 271 seems to be a big trail. The hosts will have to play the fourth inning with a lot of varied bounce and spin that will be a walk of joy for Ashwin, Kuldeep and Axar Patel.
