Indore Test: Team India all out for 109 runs against Aussies; Will 3rd Test also end in 3 days?

The first two Test matches of Border Gavaskar trophy already ended on a poor note, creating lot of disappointment for cricket fans.

New Delhi: The third test match of Border Gavaskar Trophy started in Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, with Team India & Aussie visitors squaring off for the third time in the high-voltage clash. However, the encounter yet again failed to live up to expectations as the first innings of match concluded with a poor score, much like earlier 2 Test matches.

Team India was on the backfoot this time, as the whole team collapsed at mere 109 runs. Australians bowled out the whole team in just 33.2 overs, delivering an ignominious experience for the hosts.

All Indian batters proved ineffective against the spearing bowling attack of Aussies. Virat Kohli was the only batsman to score more than 20 runs while all other Men in Blue kept falling at quick intervals. Shubman Gill & Rohit Sharma were other players with double digit score of 21 & 12 runs respectively.

Will 3rd Test match end in 3 days, again?

The drastic collapse of Indian side prompted fans to speculate & also project the outcome of 3rd Test match. Many cricket fans took to social media and shared jokes & memes about another cricket fiasco in the making.

The first two Test matches of Border Gavaskar trophy already ended on a poor note, creating lot of disappointment for cricket fans. Though India thrashed the visitors twice, the match ending in just 3 days came in for criticism from all quarters. Nagpur & Delhi pitches, curators & administrators found themselves at the receiving end for poor run-scoring pitches.

In the ongoing third test, Australia’s left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann broke the back of Indian batting by scalping 5 wickets. Kuhnemann took 5/16 while Nathan Lyon grabbed 3/35.

Though, India came into game as the favourites with 2-0 lead but their batting collapse has put it on the backfoot.

This is Team India’s lowest total at home in Test series but what’s more concerning is whether third test will also end in 3 days.
