New Delhi: In the crucial Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) last night, Virat Kohli grabbed the spotlight by hitting his sixth ton in the Twenty-Twenty format of game. The cricketer has been in sublime form and this showed up in his game against SRH.

Kohli scored his 6th IPL hundred in style. He hit the ball for a long six to complete his century. As Kohli scored his 6th IPL ton with a six, the stadium saw loud cheers & celebrations from his fans. It also drew many reactions from fellow cricketers including Faf du Plessis and SRH owner Kavya Maran.

Du Plessis lauded fellow RCB player Kohli for latter’s exhilarating performance but the SRH owner Kavya Maran was clearly not impressed with Kohli’s big six.

While chasing SRH’s big total of 186 runs, Kohli & Plessis powered their game with some brilliant batting display and handed over a crushing defeat to the former. Kohli hit his 6th hundred while Du Plessis continued to dominate the game with their powerful knock. Kohli (100 runs) & Du Plessis (71) together tilted the game in their favour with their highest partnership of the season and defeated rival SRH with four balls to spare.

With this win, RCB has brightened its chances of playoff and has now climbed to 4th spot on the table with 14 points.
