Elon Musk makes fun of Tim Cook over Apple’s ‘Polishing cloth’

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla is well known from his sarcastic and witty remarks on Twitter. Recently, he has responded to Tim Cook over Apple’s polishing cloth.

Apart from being the founder and CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk is also popular for his witty, weird, and all other kinds of tweets. Often, he is seen taking a dig at rival companies and entrepreneurs which often go viral all over the web. This time, his tweet has again won praises and applauds from the netizens.

Elon Musk’s target was on the Apple CEO, Tim Cook this time. Recently, Cook took to Twitter to inform the public about the opening of a new Apple store in Istanbul. In response to that tweet, Musk sarcastically replied, “Come see the Apple Cloth.” The response went viral within seconds of its share and got more likes, comments, and retweets than Cook’s original tweet.

Earlier this week, Apple has launched screen-cleaning cloth, popularly known as “polishing cloth” at Rs 1,900 in India. The cloth is made up of non-abrasive material and has a stamp of Apple inscribed on it. However, the public is curious about what makes a cleaning cloth to be so special to be marketed at such as a sky-rocketing price. Apple recommends its users to use “soft, lint-free cloth’ and avoid “abrasive cloths, towels, paper towels, or similar items” to clean their product claims that their polishing cloth can do the respective job.
