New Delhi: The ceremony was called “a moment of enormous national pride” and a “demonstration of our country’s character” by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Friday. “It’s an opportunity for all of us to look to the future and a spirit of service, hope, and unity,” he declared. The 2,300 participants will include prominent EU officials in addition to royalty from around the world and the presidents of France and Germany. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife, Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, who is in the UK for a two-day visit, will attend King Charles III’s coronation. Dhankhar met King Charles III, the First Lady of the United States, and other dignitaries during a meal held at Buckingham Palace.
