New Delhi: The city of Gujarat has received the honour of registering its name in the Guinness World Book of records for organizing a ‘Mass Surya Namaskar’. Participants from across the state have participated in the event and performed the sun salutations. The main purpose of this event is to generate awareness about the significance and benefits of ‘Surya Namaskar’ in the lives of people. The event received positive response from the participants and all of them appreciated the initiative by the organizers. The Surya Namaskar was performed in 108 venues. The event took place at the Modehra Sun Temple. Gujarat CM and deputy CM were also present at the event.
