New Delhi: veteran Music Maestro Ustad Rashid Khan passed away after battling with prolonged illness. The famous music maestro was struggling with Prostrate cancer and was undergoing treatment for cancer in Kolkata. According to sources, he was on a ventilator and was also given oxygen support. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed condolences over his death and said, it is a great loss for the entire country and the music industry. I am in a lot of pain, i still can’t believe that he is no more. Born in Uttar Pradesh’s Badayun, he was also the nephew of Ghulam Mustafa Khan.
